Adobe CS3 is not compatible with Windows XP x64

Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 does not load completely from the installation source when installing on a 64 bit edition of Windows. Adobe has not created a 64 bit printer driver and the user will receive an error, "Cannot find AdobePDF.dll". Don't bother searching for it; it can't be loaded into a 64 bit environment.

What does this mean to you? You cannot print directly to a pdf. The largest time saver and most effective selling point for Adobe Acrobat is wasted on 64 bit computing.

There are alternative methods to creating a pdf, but it is just as easy to take advantage of third party offerings. A quick google search prompted this free offering (a $400 savings): http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

To be fair, I have not had any other issues with the other CS3 products. It just would have been nice to have seen an article when I was searching for compatibility before purchasing the software.
